About Me
- Name: Carlos Bauer
Publisher of Baseball Press Books & former Society for American Baseball Research Minor League Committee Chair. He attended Columbia University, and then went to work for the Spanish Film Company Emiliano Piedra Producciones as special assistant to the producer during the period the company produced the flamenco trilogy of Carlos Saura & Antonio Gades. After the death of Franco, he translated four works of Henry Miller & Lawrence Ferlinghetti's "A Coney Island of the Mind."
